On alert after theft at a 200-year-old temple, a group of youngsters in Mahisagar was keeping vigil on Saturday night when they sensed some movement at around 1.30am. The boys swooped inside the temple and they saw a six-foot-long crocodile resting in front of the idol of Khodiyar Mata. Interestingly, crocodile is the vehicle of this deity.
