Radisson’s initiative

KATHMANDU: Radisson Hotel has been celebrating the month of June as their CSR month and under this initiative, the hotel organised the ‘Make a Difference Campaign’ on June 19.

The campaign was launched on October 22, 2018 till March 31, 2019 worldwide by Radisson Hotel Group and was adapted by all member hotels across the globe to donate $1 per room night to SOS Children’s Villages.

Radisson Hotel Kathmandu donated $901 to SOS Children’s Village, Sanothimi as part of the campaign.

Radisson Hotel Kathmandu has also been providing scholarships to students at SOS Children’s Village in Sanothimi.

The hotel also organised ‘Support in Special Children’s Mobility Campaign’ on June 20. The main highlight of the campaign was the handover of five special wheelchairs to children with permanent movement disorders at Cerebral Palsy Nepal.

Towards the end of the campaign, the employees of Radisson Hotel Kathmandu also procured handmade floor mats, candles, bags and postcards made by the differently-abled children of Cerebral Palsy Nepal and put them on display.
