Chelsea fans urge club to give Hazard’s No10 shirt to Pulisic over Hudson-Odoi after winger’s stunning USA form
CHELSEA fans are calling on the club to hand Eden Hazard’s No10 shirt to new boy Christian Pulisic after his stunning form for the USA team.
The former Borussia Dortmund winger is set to join his new team-mates at Stamford Bridge for the first time this summer after sealing his £58million transfer in January.
Pulisic, 20, left Germany on a high note, scoring two goals and grabbing an assist in his last three appearances for the Bundesliga runners-up.
And he continues his stunning form on international duty, leading the USA in the Concacaf Golden Cup.
The Americans were off to a blistering start, smashing four past Guyana last week.
And they beat Trinidad and Tobago 6-0 yesterday, with Pulisic scoring a goal and picking up two assists.
That was enough to get Chelsea fans so excited about their new star that they are urging the club to give the winger the fabled No10 shirt.
Even though the Blues reportedly wanted to offer it to their starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi, 18, in order to convince him to commit his future to Stamford Bridge.
One Chelsea fan wrote: “What’s wrong with Pulisic Getting number 10?!”
Another added: “Just waiting for his squad number to be released…”
And a third said: “Chelsea should give this guy the number 10. Watch the way he plays, he has elite mentality to carry a team on his back, I just pray he does not get injured.”
Former Blues star Hazard vacated the No10 shirt when he joined Real Madrid in a £130m deal earlier this month.

Bayern Munich also wanted to use the number as a bargaining chip in their attempts to lure Hudson-Odoi away from London.
The Bundesliga giants chased the Chelsea starlet throughout the winter transfer window.
But the Blues didn’t budge and turned down a number of offers from Bayern, despite Hudson-Odoi entering the last year on his contract this summer.
