Spurs ‘best placed’ to sign £44.7m-rated Real Madrid ace – report

Tottenham are leading the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, according to reports in Spain.
Last week, we relayed a story purporting Real Madrid are willing to offer Ceballos as part of a £45 million deal for Christian Eriksen.
But with speculation suggesting Madrid are prioritising a move for Manchester United star Paul Pogba ahead of Eriksen, that deal looks unlikely.
However, Spanish outlet AS claims Spurs are the ‘best placed’ club to sign Ceballos either permanently or on loan this summer, regardless of what happens with Eriksen.
