YOUTUBER Etika’s fans are worried for his welfare after he vanished.
Real name Desmond Amofah, he had posted a worrying video in which he expressed suicidal thoughts, claiming he had “pushed everyone away”.
Who is YouTuber Etika?
Amofah has more than 130,000 subscribers on YouTube, where he regularly vlogs about video games.
The 29-year-old, who lives in Brooklyn, New York, amassed the huge following playing and talking about Nintendo games.
But in recent months he has apparently been suffering with poor mental health.
When did the gaming streamer go missing?
Etika went missing last Wednesday, June 19.
After posting a video in which he told fans that he was “sorry”.
He said: “I’m sorry, yo. I’m sorry I betrayed your trust, I’m sorry I pushed you all away.”
In the video’s description, he added: ‘I mislead so many of you, I manipulated, I lied, I shifted blame.
“I don’t know what awaits me on the other side, but I’m ready to face it.”
Since posting the video he hasn’t been seen and concern is growing for his welfare.

Officers began searching for any sign of the Brooklyn man the same day he vanished.
They found Amofah’s New York State driver’s license, along with several other cards and his wallet.
His cell phone was discovered along with a black and red Nintendo Switch and a laptop bag believed to belong to Amofah, which contained a pair of boxers, a shirt, shorts and headphones, police sources said.
