Marcin Bulka chose to quit Chelsea for PSG convinced there was no chance of dislodging Kepa Arrizabalaga as the Blues' No1.

Goal says the Blues had been eager for Bulka to sign a new contract with them but the youngster has instead ventured off in search of pastures new.

The custodian did not make a single first-team appearance for the Blues after joining in 2016 and it is believed PSG are willing to offer the youngster more chances.

It is a blow to Chelsea who had been impressed by Bulka's development in the past three seasons with the club.

And with Kepa himself still young in terms of being a goalkeeper, it may be a situation that occurs a few more times in the coming years.
