Lidl is selling a chair for your cat and a dog bed with a sun shade this week
LIDL is selling a chair for your cat and a sunshade for your dog that’s purr-fect for your animal pal to lounge about on in the hot weather.
The outdoor furniture is designed to be used in the garden but you can bring it indoors too.
The raised cat bed, which can be folded up for storage, costs £12.99 and comes with a three year warranty should anything go wrong until then.
The cover on the Lidl’s Zoofari cat chair is removable so you can wash it to make sure it doesn’t keep hold of any bad smells.
The lounger is 50cm in diameter which gives your cat plenty of room to stretch out on.
We couldn’t find a similar product for sale anywhere else but you could save money by buying a standard cat bed – a Clever Paws one will set you back £5.99 from The Range.
Dog-lovers can also protect their pets in the upcoming heatwave with the Zoofari Dog Bed with Sun Shade that costs £19.99.
It will protect your dog from sun rays of up to UV 50 and the raised bed provides ventilation to keep your dog cool.
The bed size is 106cm wide, 20cm tall and 75cm deep and can take pets that weigh up to 60kg – that’s roughly the weight of a female boxer dog.
The sunshade can be removed but you’ll need to put it all together yourself.
Both products are part of the budget supermarket’s new pet essentials range launching from Sunday June 30.
You can also pick up a grooming set for £14.99, while a dog paddling pool costs £29.99.
Shoppers won’t be able to order the goods online but will instead have to head to the middle aisle of one of Lidl’s 700 stores in the UK.
You’ll also need to act fast if you want one because they’re only going on sale while stocks last.

The launch comes as vets have issued a warning to owners to put sun cream on their cats amid fears a 27 degrees Celsius heatwave will leave them badly burned.
Lidl is also running an amazing deal on kids’ picnic benches – and it’s only £10 down from £24.99.
And it has a pizza stand that lets you cook FOUR at once – and it’s bigger and cheaper than Aldi’s.
