Dura Ace shifters SL-7401 and SL-7402

VeloBase lists the Dura Ace 7s SL-7401 as 1987-88; and the 8s SL-7402 as 1990-98. Looks like there was no Dura Ace down tube shifter in 1989 :foo:
So, which one would be correct on my 1989 bike?
