Barton Dream Falls Short
Fri 14th June saw the end of our hopes for Barton cup Glory when we were narrowly defeated by a very strong St. Annes team.
Battling against a bitingly cold cross wind on the seaside links, our boys showed great fighting spirit and no lack of skill but were no match for the home team and the elements combined.Narrowly losing our third game in Hollywood on the final hole put paid to our hopes of a Barton Pennant.
The camaraderie and the talent and commitment of this Barton Panel was a source of great satisfaction to manager Eoghan, and will provide us with the platform to come back again next year even stronger.

Sat 15th June and a much brighter day in Clontarf GC. our Bruen team teed off in the quest to qualify for the matchplay stages of this prestigous tournament. Unfortunately the efforts of fridays Barton defeat seemed to take a heavy toll on our team and we didn’t do ourselves justice on this stage.
Finishing outside the top four requirement.

Saturday 29th June sees our Senior cup team in action in Dundalk Led by Player Manager David Grainger. Unfortunately this fixture clashes with our Lady Captains Day so our lads are showing great sacrifice to represent the Club in the search of a Blue Pennant. Good luck Lads our thoughts are with you.
Weds 26th our Fingal snrs are in action against Corrstown GC. President Tom is very happy with the teams Progress so far and with a bit of luck he feels we will qualify from the group stages to the Knockout rounds.
Independence day 4th July sees the Mcdonnell Cup team led by manager Colm Connell take on Clontarf GC. with a Place in the quarter final at stake.
so lets wish Colm and the team the best of luck.
Sunday 7th July our O’grady team take on the might of Malahide GC. seeking to retain the title won in such style last year Alison and Andrew have the team training hard for the encounter. Once again please try to support the teams as much as possible it really helps and is greatly appreciated.
