Tractor-trailer fatally strikes NYC bicyclist, keeps going

A tractor-trailer fatally struck a bicyclist in Chelsea Monday morning and kept going, police said.

The truck, headed uptown on Sixth Ave., slammed into the 33-year-old victim, who was also headed north, in front of a Citibank at W. 24th St. about 9:25 a.m., officials said.
