[Football] Cronin, several Tigers honored by KY Pro Football Hall of Fame
Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame held its annual banquet and awards ceremony over three days in Lexington. During the weekend, multiple Georgetown College football players were honored.
Earning All-Commonwealth team recognitions were: Starr Thompson, JJ Ogbogu, Shawn Gilliam and Daric Pugh. The team is selected from all Kentucky colleges and 67 young men were honored in total.
Ryan Woolf became the third Tiger to receive the Blanton Collier Leading with Character award, which is given to football student-athletes with dedication to the game while contributing significantly to their teams all while exemplifying trust, respect, excellence, accountability, caring, confidence and optimism. Kody Kasey was GC's first recipient and Josh Copley received it this past year. In all the KPFHF handed out seven of these honors to Mid-South Conference teams.
