Pundit explains why Spurs’ rumoured move for transfer target is shrewd business

According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham are confident of sealing a £25 million deal for Fulham wide man Ryan Sessegnon.

The 19-year-old has only one year left on his contract with the Cottagers and could move for free next summer.

While Sessegnon failed to live up to expectations in his first season of Premier League football, he did show signs of promise towards the end of the season. The England Under-21 international made 35 appearances last season, scoring twice.

After Fulham’s relegation, the teenager is said to be keen to continue playing his in the top flight.
