LOVE Island fans are convinced Michael Griffiths will ditch Amber Gill for new bombshell Joanna Chimonides – in a move reminiscent to the Casa Amor drama that unfolded on last year’s show.
Viewers were left shocked last night when the 28-year-old appeared to have his head turned by the Londoner following the girls’ move to Casa Amor.
And now many at home fear the Liverpudlian will repeat what 2018 contestant Josh Denzel did to then partner Georgia Steel when he walked back into the villa hand-in-hand with Kaz Crossley following his stint in the Casa Amor.
The epic recoupling, which has gone down in reality TV history, saw members of the public up in arms over the deceit and now a year later many are worried that history will repeat itself.
The pair’s chemistry was palpable during a game of sexy charades when Michael passionately kissed Joanna’s neck and sent Love Island fans into a tizzy on Twitter fearing it spells trouble for his romance with Amber.
One viewer penned: “Joanna is this years Kaz”.
“Joanna and Michael moving like Kaz and Josh,” another wrote.
A third commented: “I’m calling it… Joanna’s gonna sway Michael and we’ll get a Josh and Kaz 2.0.”

The chatter online comes after Michael expressed his doubts about his relationship with the beauty technician, 21, while Amber pined for him in the new villa.
Viewers watched the pair bicker on Thursday’s instalment when Michael called her out for being frosty to him.
And now new girl Joanna pressed Michael on his relationship status and admitted: “You are my type. I wanted to see where you’re at because obviously you’re coupled up with Amber.
“As long as I know there is some part of you that is up for getting to know me.”
Michael replied: “There are certain things that have gone on that I think are quite childish, yeah, yeah there is.
“If someone proper blows me out of the water. it’s not a beeline to myself, if I didn’t kind of go for it.”

In the Beach Hut, Michael admitted: “She’s obviously a very attractive girl. It wouldn’t hurt to get to know who Joanna is to see if, by all means, she’s more like me.”
“The new girls coming in has obviously come at a great time. It’s helped me realise situations that I’ve overlooked with Amber, and it’s made me realise that I did go into a shell over the past week and I wasn’t really acting myself.
“Just acting a bit out of character. This has come at a good time to help me clear things up in my head.”
