It's true that Trump made history this past weekend, becoming the first U.S. leader to visit North Korea. But a variety of Fox News hosts took that to the next level, lauding how Trump had the "courage" to launch "a new era of diplomacy" by making the trip — phrases that North Korean state TV used to describe its own leader, a side-by-side comparison from The Daily Show reveals.

Following Trump's visit, Fox Business' Lou Dobbs remarked how the president "has now accomplished what no other American president has even had the courage or the vision to even attempt." Meanwhile, North Korea's propaganda-filled network praised Kim's "courageous leadership" in making the meeting happen. Fox News' Jeanine Pirro suggested that the visit was previously thought to be "totally impossible," while North Korean state TV wondered "who could have imagined that this moment was possible?" And Sean Hannity, a close confidante of Trump's, meanwhile described how Trump "ushered in a new era of diplomacy," while North Korean state TV called it a "new, triumphant era of diplomacy."
