The 5 Products Kristen Bell Always Uses For Fresh, Dewy Skin
Like her hair (arguably the cutest blonde bob in Hollywood), Kristen Bell's skin is perfection. The consummate girl-next-door could still pass for a teenager, just as fresh-faced and bubbly as she was when she got her start as an actress nearly twenty years ago. Desperate to know what type of filler or brand of vampire-blood cream to credit, we talked to the woman who has been touching Bell's skin since her first-ever acting role: her longtime makeup artist Simone Siegl.
"I met Kristen on her first movie, a low-budget Hallmark TV movie called The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay," Siegl tells us. "Back then, I was 23 years old, and she was also a baby at 20, and the two of us just clicked immediately. Soon after, she got her big break on Veronica Mars, and we've been working together ever since."
For just about every press appearance and red carpet over the past two decades, Siegl has been by Bell's side — and has also helped her masterfully curate the perfect skin-care routine, the five essential products that keep her skin fresh, tight, and glowy. Courtesy of Siegl, we caught a glimpse of what's inside Bell's medicine cabinet, ahead...

Clarisonic
"Kristen does the prep work to keep her skin fresh, clean, and hydrated," Siegl tells us. "She's on the drier side, so we both love the Clarisonic cleansing brush to gently exfoliate her skin. Before I get to her house, Kristen always uses her brush, so her face is clean but not stripped, then I can start right into layering the hydration."

Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Mask
"My second step is always a face mask," says Siegl. "We use Tata Harper's Hydrating Floral one. I also love the Sisley Black Rose mask, but as Kristen has gotten older, she has become a bit more ingredients-conscious and prefers clean products when she can. So, I use the Tata Harper on her and any other clients who want the most natural option."

Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum
"We'll wash off the mask, and layer on a hyaluronic acid," explains Siegl of step three. "I love using a hyaluronic acid on the skin right after washing off a mask, because it adds an instant bouncy glow to the face. I've tried a few different serums, but for Kristen, the Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum is the one I always use."

True Botanicals Pure Radiance Oil
Next, Siegl pats oil on over the hyaluronic acid serum. "I like the True Botanicals True Radiance Oil, which I found when Kristen told me she was trying to go more organic with her skin-care routine," Siegl says. "It's amazing because Kristen's skin is dry and very light in tone, and I think adding this oil is the main key to keeping it dewy and youthful."
True Botanicals Pure Radiance Oil, $110, available at True Botanicals
Créme de la Mer
"Kristen has been obsessed with Créme de la Mer forever," Siegl says. "She loves the thickness and the heavier texture of it, so we really slather it on, and it acts like a primer, if you will. Then, we start her makeup. But that base is the most important part, and honestly, it's nothing different than what she does on her own. Kristen takes very good care of her skin."
La Mer Créme de la Mer, $175, available at La Mer
