Citizens in Lebanon urged to keep low profile

KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Embassy in Lebanon urged citizens Sunday to maintain a high level of vigilance and practice good situational awareness in view of current security tensions in the country. The Embassy called on Kuwaitis to steer clear of demonstrations and large crowds in some Lebanese areas, particularly Chouf and Mount Lebanon. It also advised them to stay in touch in case of an emergency on the following numbers: 00961-1792810, 00961-1792901 and 00961-1792902. The Embassy also urged Kuwaiti citizens in Lebanon to contact its 24-hour emergency number: 00961-71171441.The Kuwaiti diplomatic mission wished security, safety, and stability for Lebanon. – KUNA
