EastEnders viewers convinced Whitney is going to be killed off in shock death after fans spot funeral filming near soap studios
TWITTER has gone into overdrive after Eastenders viewers are speculating that Whitney Dean is going to be killed off.
The Walford cast have been spotted filming a funeral near the BBC1 soap studios – and fans are convinced that we could be saying goodbye to poor Whitney.
One concerned viewer wrote: “I’m very worried. Nobody’s seen shona in a while & today EastEnders was filming a possible funeral…. Whitney better be (OK)!! #EastEnders.”
Another said: “Watching Whitney with all these rumours about her future at the moment makes me really sad.”, whilst one adamant fan added: “They’ve been filming Whitney’s funeral”.
Whitney, played by actress Shona McGarty, is currently enthralled in a story-line involving her fiance Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway.
Last month, Callum asked a delighted Whitney to marry him – despite him being secretly gay.
Callum’s – AKA Halfway – world was turned upside down when his sexuality was revealed by Ben Mitchell.
The pair ended up romping in a park after a boozy night out, where viewers watched Ben [Max Bowden] offer words of comfort, before the boys ended up snogging as they reached for one another’s belt buckles.
Afterwards, Callum made every effort to forget his gay rendezvous – and ended up proposing to his unsuspecting girlfriend Whitney.
Whitney has already had a previous break from the Square in July 2017 after a tumultuous few months which saw her marriage to ex Lee Carter breakdown.
She returned and then hooked up with bad boy barman Woody Woodward – played by Lee Ryan – with the couple getting engaged and planning a new life in Spain.
But when Whitney headed to the tube station to meet Woody – the lothario was nowhere to be seen.
Instead, Whitney found a note from Woody telling her that she was better off in London, leaving her heartbroken again.
