Athletico Paranaense coach Tiago Nunes hails Atletico Madrid signing Renan Lodi

Athletico Paranaense coach Tiago Nunes is adamant new Atletico Madrid signing Renan Lodi is a future Brazil international.

Atletico and Athletico Paranaense have reached agreement for Lodi, who has already said his farewell to teammates.

Nunes said, "I have full conviction that Lodi will be the future wing-back of the national team.

"Probably at Atltico he will have more facilities to be called (by Brazil).

"We do not have a player with the characteristics of Renan Lodi, he can defend centrally and also on the flanks, but he had attacking numbers like an attacker."
