Duchess Kate Middleton Makes Surprise Trip to Wimbledon & Doesn't Sit in the Royal Box!

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) makes a surprise appearance to watch day two of 2019 Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Tuesday (July 2) in London, England.

The 37-year-old royal visited court 14 to watch British player Harriet Dart play American Christina McHale, and thus, did not sit in the royal box reserved for the royals, which is located in Centre Court. She is expected to head to Centre Court later today to watch Serena Williams, where the Duchess is expected to sit in the royal box.

Last year, Duchess Kate and Duchess Meghan Markle sat in the royal box to watch Serena, who is a friend of Duchess Meghan‘s. Perhaps the two Duchess will both attend today!
