Emily Atack says she’s at her ‘biggest ever’ weighing 11st but still gets loads of compliments
EMILY Attack has revealed she is now the heaviest she’s ever been at 11st – but has never been happier.
The 29-year-old I’m A Celeb star, who is 5ft 6in, told Closer that she developed a positive attitude towards her curves after the show and gets showered with compliments.
She explained: “I’ve realised that I’m probably the biggest I’ve ever been. I weigh 11st.
“I’ve never weighed 11st, but I’m doing everything I’ve always wanted to do.
“My life is the best it’s ever been, and I get more compliments now than I ever have before.
“I look back at photographs of when I was slimmer, looking a bit gaunt, and I was definitely unhappier.”
Emily added that though she does receive mean comments about her weight online, she no longer lets it get her down.
The actress, who found fame as Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners, credits her time in the jungle with a new attitude.
She explained: “I’m way more accepting of my body now.”
Last week, Emily – who said she would be 2st heavier if she wasn’t famous – explained how she was a perfectly normal size.
She told The Sara Cox Show: “We’ve been brought up in a society where a size four and size six girls are how you see all the lead actresses. Most of them are that size.
“When they see someone who is a normal size, I’m a ten/12/sometimes a 14 if I want to be comfy…
“I am just a normal size. But in other people’s eyes I’m bigger.”
Since leaving the jungle, which came after the break-up of a five-year relationship with actor Jack Vacher, she now has a new man.
Emily went public with boyfriend Rob Jowers in April and the pair have been seen looking loved-up ever since.
Last month, she and the towering movie producer left Soho Townhouse at 1am after celebrating the launch of her new TV show, Adulting.
