JUNGLE SECRET should appreciate this drop back to 5f for her handicap debut against some pretty weak opposition. She showed her best on a couple of outings over this distance before a rusty comeback effort at Redcar last time.

The hood goes on for the first time and she can improve. Similar comments about the distance apply to Raksha who didn’t show a lot over 6f last time after a promising run at the minimum trip. Raquelle wasn’t disgraced at Beverley latest when fourth and should be thereabouts.

BILL NEIGH won over course and distance on debut before finding life a little tough in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. Returning here should be much more to his liking.

He has to give weight away though and Ventura Flame may cash in. She was second at Carlisle before being beaten seven lengths in the Queen Mary Stakes. There should be more to come.

Bubbly Splash showed some promise on debut at Hamilton latest and should improve for that.

ROCK N’STONES could be a big price for a horse that won here last time out over a similar distance. He showed good battling qualities to get up after being headed and a 2lb rise in the weights is more than fair.

Nearly There is another last-time scorer who looks to be ahead of the handicapper. He wasn’t stopping over 1m6f at Redcar and looks a serious contender.

Another Lincolnday is interesting on just his third run since coming back from almost three years off. He showed good heart at Redcar last time.

RASELASAD has been knocking on the door and was third in what looked a stronger race than this last time out. The handicapper has left his mark alone and he has winning form over trip and track.

Jacob Black didn’t get much luck in running when third at Carlisle last time and is another who saves his best for this distance.

Pepys was in great form before his break and was last seen in October when winning over this course and distance. He has won on comeback before.

ISHEBAYORGREY has been consistent this season and was beaten less than three lengths at Carlisle last time out. He has no issues with this distance and comes from a handy draw.

Forever A Lady comes from an in-form yard and is just 1lb higher than when going close at Ayr latest. She steps up in distance here with strong claims if getting home. Relight My Fire has dropped to 2lb higher than his last winning mark and showed some promise at Beverley last time out.

CLIFF BAY got the job done well at Carlisle last time and can follow up despite the ground being a good deal quicker. He has handled this sort of surface before and the trip suits.

Donnelly’s Rainbow looks handicapped for another good run after three places in a row before another good effort at Beverley last time. Stepping up to this distance shouldn’t be a concern and he won’t be far away.

My Valentino ran better than sixth place suggests at Hamilton last time and it will be interesting to see how he goes over this longer trip.

LONGROOM has an excellent record around here and is worth risking despite his modest recent form. This a major drop in class the level he’s used to and there isn’t a lot to beat.

Billy Dylan looked a tricky ride when fifth at Chester last time and is another who is dropping down the grades.

SOSIAN has been in excellent form with a win at Redcar followed by a close second at Hamilton last time. She finished off her race well there over 1m3f so should be happier over this longer trip.

Millie The Minx stayed on strongly over shorter at Carlisle last time when beaten half a length so should be dangerous.
