Black Cats trip as part of pre-season

Whitby Town will head to Sunderland’s Academy of Light, with the pre-season schedule now filling up.

Chris Hardy’s side will face the Black Cats’ under-23 side at their training ground, following trips to Billingham Synthonia, Guisborough Town and Stockton Town.

The Blues’ first Turnbull Ground will come on Tuesday, July 30, as National League North side Darlington, managed by Alun Armstrong, visit.

Pre-season will conclude with a trip to Carl Jarrett’s Marske United.
