The cruise ship almost crushed the yacht for wealthy tourists

In Venice, the Costa Deliziosa cruise liner almost crushed the moored yacht "Elysian", intended for recreation of wealthy tourists.

The incident occurred on July 7 in the Giudecca canal during a storm accompanied by rain and hail. The Costa Deliziosa liner is almost 300 meters long - there are 772 cabins, a dozen restaurants, a casino, a cinema and even shopping malls on the ship, which resembles a huge entertainment center - marching, as required by local rules, in tow, touched the 60-meter Elysian yacht intended for recreation of wealthy tourists.

The company, which owns the liner, reported that the Costa Deliziosa course was disrupted due to the weather, however, despite the incident, the ship was able to continue its journey.

In turn, Transport Minister Danilo Toninelli, recalling the incident with another cruise ship MSC Opera , when the airliner crashed into a tourist pleasure ship, told on his Facebook page that he had already agreed to comprehensively check the incident with Costa Deliziosa, after which it can be taken the decision to ban large ships of the Venetian lagoon.
