Fans wonder where Djokovic’s wife Jelena is…as Mirka cheers on Federer at Wimbledon final

ROGER FEDERER is being willed to victory in the men’s singles final by wife Mirka on centre court.

But his opponent Novak Djokovic might not be able to rely on the urgings of wife Jelena as she appears to be missing in attendance.

It was a point not missed by eagle-eyed fans watching the action unfold at SW19.

Her most recent post, however, was her two children Tara and Stefan running through a field, with the location tagged as “Wimbledon”.

But cameras failed to spot her in the stands during the final.

Earlier in the week Jelena posted on Instagram that she was back home in her native Serbia carrying out charity work.

GOING ALONE?

She is the CEO of the Novak Foundation, that creates and manages education projects.

People were left wondering why the No1 seed looked like he was ‘going it alone’ this summer.

Sally Booker posted on Twitter: “Is Djokovic’s wife in the box this year”.

Emmanuel James wrote: “Djokovic’s wife is not in his box?”

Another asked: “Where’s Djokovic’s wife. Is she not there??”

The tennis star was asked earlier in the season why his wife would not be attending the Australian Open.

The 32-year-old explained that she would be staying at home because his son, Stefan, had just started pre-school.
