Darren Bent claims players tell him ex-Tottenham star is best player they have ever played with

On January 17, 2019, Tottenham decided to sell midfield maestro Mousa Dembele to Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F (BBC).

Spurs received a fee of £11m for the midfielder, with Dembele due to leave on a free this summer.

The 31-year-old joined Tottenham in 2012 from Fulham for a fee of £15m (Telegraph), meaning that Spurs got almost seven years of use out of the star for just a £4m transfer fee.

Across his seven seasons with Spurs, Dembele racked up just short of 250 total appearances, scoring 10 goals in the process (Wikipedia).
