BRITS are set to hit the beach across the country in roasting 28C temperatures tomorrow, before patchy rains creeps in throughout the day.
Scotland and the Midlands will be seeing the worst of the rain, as south of the UK will soak up the sun, according to the Met Office.
This week expects to see temperatures ramp up to highs of a scorching 28C in parts this week – kicking off a three-MONTH heatwave.
Forecasters say warmer conditions throughout the UK are expected to last until as late as October.
SCATTERED SHOWERS
Met Office meteorologist Emma Smith told Sun Online: “We’re expecting a cloudy morning in the West tomorrow, but that’s definitely going to change as the day goes on.
“There’s going to be plenty of sunshine in the South East where we can expect temperatures to reach 27C in London and 28C further down in the South of the country.
“As we get close to lunchtime, showers are going to start creeping in in Wales and the Midlands, with North of Scotland seeing the worst of tomorrow’s rain.
“However as we get into the evening, the rain will ease up and it will be a fairly dry evening for the most part in the Southern counties.”
The hot weather has led to warnings to parents to make sure their kids are coated in suncream during their summer holiday fun in the sun.

Forecasters say a “continental heat dome” will dominate the UK weather picture in the coming weeks.
London and the South East are set to bask in the best of the heat.
And the sweltering conditions are set to linger through September and all the way into October.
28C SCORCHER
Temperatures are set to peak at 28C on Wednesday – with even the North East getting some sunny weather.
Met Office meteorologist Helen Roberts told Sun Online: “We’re expecting dry and bright weather this week and Wednesday will see the highest temperature of 28C.
“As for the next three months, we can definitely expect warm weather and bright skies for the most part.”
Early autumn is shaping up to be a warm one, as forecasters predict it to be even hotter than last year’s “Indian Summer” when temperatures hit 26C, making it the hottest October for seven years.
Elisa Booker, from Visit Britain, told the Daily Star: “Parents will be breathing a sigh of relief at the lovely weather ahead as kids start their summer holidays.
“Long dry periods with sunshine mean easy and fun days out.
“I’m sure we will be seeing lots of busy parks, National Trust areas, green spaces and beaches as the sun shines bright.”
Europe had record temperatures of 46C two weeks ago – with the mercury reaching a roasting 34C in Britain on June 29 – marking the hottest day of the year in the UK so far.
