[Football] Griffin Zajac named to NAIA preseason All-American team

Junior defensive back Griffin Zajac was named to the 2019 College Football America Yearbook NAIA Preseason Starting Lineup. He was one of just four defensive backs named to the preseason All-American team.

Zajac, from Oswego, Ill., earned second team all-Mid-States Football Association honors after finishing second in the NAIA in passes defended (2.0/game) last season. He intercepted a team-leading four passes and finished second on the team with 52 total tackles, which included 30 solo stops.

The 2019 College Football America Yearbook features more than 930 college football teams from the United States and Canada in more than 250 striking, full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada).
