Love Island fans furious and claim it’s a ‘fix’ that Joanna was dumped so Michael could stay for Amber

LOVE Island fans have slammed the show as a “fix” – saying Joanna Chimonides was only dumped tonight so Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill could pick up their romance.

Michael sparked uproar in the villa when he swapped Amber to couple up with newbie Joanna – but viewers think producers were desperate to keep him in the show to rekindle the love affair.

One wrote: “Surely this Micheal thing is a fix? It’s what everyone wanted to happen.”

Another said: “Love this #loveisland fix the most out of all the fixes lolz.”

A third insisted: “This show is such a fix .”

One other tweeted: “Shocking how @LoveIsland have fixed that. Talk about managing the story line…#LoveIsland #fix #whatsthepoint.”

Others were shocked at Joanna’s fury that Michael didn’t instantly offer to leave, writing: “Joanna can f**k off. Everyone knows Michael wants Amber that’s why they voted for him to stay!”

Curtis delivered the bad news at the start of tonight’s show, saying: “The Islander we have decided to stay is Michael.”

He later half-heartedly offered to quit with Joanna, telling her: “I’ve not nothing to stay for.”

As Belle Hassan sobbed, Joanna said: “I’m a bit disappointed but it’s fine. You were a big part of the villa, so I’m not surprised.”

Amber has been making a fresh play for Michael in recent days, though ITV has insisted voting is genuine, telling The Sun Online: “The show is not fixed.”
