Bill raises bar for required petition signatures

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey's acting governor has signed into law a bill that raises the threshold for required petition signatures in certain municipalities in the state.

The new law signed Friday by Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver went into effect immediately.
