Armenian sightseeings spotted as the 'world's most photographed' landmarks  

Popular Armenian sightseeings bave found their place in a recently published ranking naming the world's most photographed landmarks.

Republic Square in Yerevan with its Singing Fountains, the History Museum and the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute rank among the most popular sights on the index compiled by the Russian cloud storage service Облако Mail.ru.

The authors have spotted also famous sighgtseeing in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Belarus and other former Soviet countries, RIA Novosti reports.

The Eiffel Tower in Paris tops the ranking followed by the iconic symbols of Rome - Coloseo and the Trevi Fountain. The temple of Sagrada Famillia (Holy Family) in Barcelona, Spain ranks as the fourth most popular sight on the index. Notre Dama de Paris comes in the fifth. The Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper built in Dubai (UAE) in 2009, is also among the top 10 popular sights.
