Three arrested as missing schoolgirl, 13, is found after five-day search
Three people have been arrested after a missing 13-year-old was found following a five-day search.
Kimberley Henry was last seen leaving her home address on Wellesley Terrace, Newcastle, at about 9.30pm on July 13.
The teenager had been ‘wrapped in a purple blanket’ and was spotted getting into a car nearby.
Today she was located at a house in Hebburn by Northumbria Police.
Officers arrested two men and a woman at the scene.
They had previously made extensive house-to-house enquiries in the search for Kimberly, who was known to have links across Tyneside.
Superintendent Peter Bent led the search for the missing schoolgirl and tonight thanked everyone who shared the appeal.

‘We are delighted that we have located her safe and well and a big part of that has been because of the public’s support.
‘Thousands of people have shared our appeal and local media have been sharing Kimberley’s picture to help us locate her.
‘This has been a large-scale investigation and dozens of officers have been working hard to find her so we are glad there has been a positive conclusion.’
