San Jose: Evergreen homicide victim identified
The victim in an apparent homicide last week in San Jose’s Evergreen neighborhood has been identified.
On Thursday, the coroner’s office named Nghia Nguyen, 84 of San Jose, as the victim of a July 12 home invasion on the 3200 block of Montecito Drive near Chaboya Middle School.
After officers responded to an active burglary at the home, police found Nguyen with an apparent head injury.
Police have not yet named suspects in the case.
