Change Dura Ace 9100 53T/39T to 50T/34T chain rings?

Hello,

I have a Dura Ace 9100 crankset with 53t/39t chain rings. I want to change to 50t/34t chain rings. I would like to know if the cranks will be compatible with smaller rings because I got conflicting info. I called one LBS and was told the rings would be compatible, however, they don't have them in stock. A second LBS said the rings are not compatible, and I need to buy a new compact crankset.
