Love Island’s Michael reveals Islanders are not having sex because it is too hot
AXED Love Island hunk Michael Griffiths has revealed the real reason why none of this year’s Islanders are having sex – it’s too hot.
The fireman, who lost his place in the villa last night, says the shared bedroom is baking hot making contestants unwilling to perform between the sheets.
Asked why love-making is down compared to last year, he said: “That bedroom can get hot, even when the air conditioning is on.
“The second the duvet goes over you do get hot.
“It’s not like we’re prudish.”
The Love Island star says his fellow Islanders can’t wait to unleash their pent-up frustration outside of the villa and it’s been a hot topic of conversation, especially between the lads.
He said: “There was lots of chat about what they’re going to do when you come out and how nice it will be to not be on camera so you can be passionate in that way when nobody is watching you.”
Michael, 27, endured an eventual time in the villa courtesy of him being at the centre of a love triangle between Amber Gill, 21, and Joanna Chimonides, 22.
Having been in a strong couple with Geordie Amber, he dumped her in favour of Joanna but when she lost her place on the show, he attempted, and failed, to reconnect with Amber.
And in yet another U-turn, Michael revealed he wants to date Joanna when he returns to the UK – providing she takes him back.

He said: “Joanna’s made me feel things I haven’t felt for a long time.
“It doesn’t happen very often when you meet someone like that so I would like to make things work with Joanna if she was to see me again.”
Michael was booted out along with current partner Francesca Allen, 23,after Islanders favoured to keep the two other couples who up for eviction.
