A SCHOOLGIRL was crushed to death after the inflatable water slide she was playing on suddenly collapsed at a holiday park in China.
The eight-year-old was on the ‘Deep Sea Treasure’ ride at the Fengda International Hot Spring Holiday Resort when the tragedy happened.

She died after the top of the huge blow-up structure partially collapsed sending her tumbling.
In a heartbreaking video taken at the scene, the girl’s mum is heard screaming for help as her daughter lies next to her.
She can be heard screaming: “Call an ambulance! Has anyone called an ambulance!”
The girl and her mum were among dozens of tourists playing on the giant inflatable water slide in Anhui Province.
According to reports, the top of the inflatable structure partially collapsed at around 4pm local time on Saturday.
The authorities said the girl was taken to Huangshan People’s Hospital for treatment but was ultimately declared dead after failed attempts to revive her.

A government stated revealed that four other tourists were injured during the collapse, but not seriously.
It is still unclear why the inflatable water slide collapsed however an unnamed female staff member told local media the accident was likely caused by overcrowding.
It is still unclear how many people were on the inflatable structure at the time of the collapse, with investigations still ongoing.
