[Track and Field] Men's and Women's Track Teams and Athletes Receive USTFCCCA Academic Honors

New Orleans, La. – Olivet's Men's and Women's track and field teams received multiple honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association today (USTFCCCA). The honors began with both teams receiving USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Award honors. In order to receive these awards, the teams must finish highly at the national championship meet and have at least a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.00. ONU's men's team finished ninth at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships and 18th at the Indoor National Championships. Academically the men finished the year with a 3.31 grade-point average. To achieve their honor the women's team placed 25th at the Outdoor National Championships and 28th at the Indoor National Championships. The women's team earned a team grade-point average of 3.37.
