Bette Midler Posts Racist Tweet Attacking Black Trump Supporters as Paid Props, “Blackground” – Twitter Responds
Bette Midler
Bette Midler received major backlash over a racist tweet she posted attacking black Trump supporters.
It’s apparently okay to be racist if you’re a Hollywood leftist.
Midler referred to black Trump supporters who attended Trump’s rally as paid props which she dubbed “blackground.”
BETTE MIDLER: Look, there are African American men in this shot! How much did he pay them to be “blackground”?

That’s a very racist thing to say.

These men aren’t allowed to support Trump because they’re black? I dunno. Telling someone they can’t do something based on the color of their skin sounds… racist.

The very definition of racism. Are you saying these men cannot make their own decisions?

Wow, Bette! That’s some racist crap right there. I guess an old, white woman like yourself gets to decide what and how black people should believe and vote.
