Fire burning in foothills near San Jose

MILPITAS – Crews are battling a brush fire in the foothills northeast of San Jose, authorities said.

The fire was reported about 5:25 p.m. near Felter and Sweigert roads in the Spring Valley area, according to Cal Fire.

NBC Bay Area reported that the fire has burned eight to 10 acres. A structure is also involved.
