CHANTELLE Houghton made a return to telly on This Morning as she warned Love Islander not to splash their cash.
Ruth Langsford quizzed Chantelle on the advice she’d give to the stars leaving the villa and she didn’t mince her words.
She said: “You’ve really got to have a thick skin. Stay grounded.
“Don’t buy into it, don’t splash all your money because it won’t last forever.
“They go and buy all these flash cars and designer hand bags and then all of a sudden they have no work and no money.”
But Dr Alex George and Eyal Booker from last year’s Love Island joined Chantelle on the sofa and had a different take on the advice they’d give.
Eyal urged ex-Islanders to grab every opportunity they can get and said: “I’m working more. I’m working with brands I wished I worked with.
“I’ve gone off to do other TV shows that have been exciting, I went to the Philippines with World Vision to raise awareness for their charity.
“I’m working on a documentary. So many exciting things have happened.”
Dr Alex told how he’s had his career in A&E to go back too, while Chantelle added: “The experiences I have had after Big Brother were I have gone on to go to all these nice places that I wouldn’t have gone to.
“I’ve eaten great food, all these life experiences.”
Jangling her bracelets as she spoke, Chantelle recalled how her life was transformed after she was signed up to do Celebrity Big Brother as a social experiment.
She was put in the house with the fake guise of being from a washed-up girl group and admitted she had no idea she’d become a celebrity for real when she left the show.
She said: “I went in there and honestly thought I’d do one interview and then go back to normal life.

“But I had a lot of support from the producers and a lot of support from everyone on the show.”
The winner of Celebrity Big Brother in 2006, despite not being a celebrity, went on to marry Ordinary Boys singer Preston after falling for him in the house.
Chantelle and then boyfriend Alex Reid had a baby daughter in June 2012 but split up three months later.
