I think nearly everyone on here would agree that PJ is a better centreback than either Berardi or Cooper but it doesn't alter the fact none of us pick the team and none of us know Bielsa's system as well as he knows it and if PJ doesn't fit into his system but Berardi and Cooper do then PJ wouldn't start. White is probably here as back up to Cooper and Berardi but would still have been ahead of PJ in Bielsa's pecking order.Genghers, sorry pal, but I would have said Jansson was streets ahead of both Berardi and Cooper
Did PJ return to training late last season? It seemed this season that everyone who had been on international duty and could have returned later to training chose to actually start training early except PJ, was that the case last year? If it was the case then Bielsa probably gives priority to players putting the side ahead of themselves.
