Video – Kane’s ankle survives studs-up horror challenge from Andreas Pereira

The majority of Tottenham fans probably now wince at every single challenge Harry Kane goes into after his recent ankle ligament problems, and today was no different.

Spurs took on Man United in a pre-season friendly in Shanghai, but the atmosphere on the pitch was anything but.

While Moussa Sissoko dished out some nasty tackles, Harry Kane was also the victim of a studs-up challenge from Andreas Pereira.

The United man’s boot was heading straight for Kane’s ankle before the England captain was just about able to lift it out of danger.

Manchester United supporters happy to go in hard on Moussa Sissoko but won’t even acknowledge how dangerous this tackle was from Pereira on Harry Kane which was a studs-up challenge, designed for pure payback, disgusting.
