Billionaire art dealer’s son ‘banged girlfriend’s head against wall of multi-million pound flat’
A BILLIONAIRE art dealer’s son banged his girlfriend’s head against the wall of his flat during a row, a court heard.
Joseph Nahmad, 31, carried out a “considerable beating” on Georgia Barry at his luxury Knightsbridge home.
He also attacked her five months earlier, Southwark crown court heard. Speaking about the previous attack, Ms Barry told police: He picked up a knife and said,
‘Are you going to say sorry?’ He threw it on to the counter.”
Nahmad, who owns a Mayfair gallery, denied arming himself with a knife and it will not be an issue at sentencing.
Prosecutor John Fairhead said: “Both parties drank to excess and she on two occasions says she was tipsy.”
