CATHERINE Tyldesley has shown off her dramatic weight loss as she revealed she had joined the Strictly 2019 line-up.
The former Coronation Street actress has been open about her battle with the bulge in the past and previously revealed she slimmed from a size 22 to a size 10.
Sharing before and after pictures, the 35-year-old wrote: “I want to share my little story – It’s been such a journey!
“This year I decided to challenge myself (I love to set goals) and do a ‘12 week Transformation’ with @up_north_pt … it has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
“The knowledge I have gained for myself and my family is priceless. Yes it was hard, yes I had days when I wanted to throw in the towel… but I didn’t – and for that I am super proud of myself.
“Being a working mum is not easy – it’s incredibly difficult at times – balance doesn’t exist. You just manage best you can.”

Today the actress was revealed as the fifth celebrity to join this year’s Strictly.
Speaking on This Morning she said: “I am so excited.
“I love to dance on a night out if I have had a couple of drinks, but I can’t actually dance.
“I think choreography is what I am going to struggle with. I am terrified. When I was at theatre school I always swerved dance classes because I was so big. It will be like therapy!”
The actress has been very open about staying healthy.
Whilst on Corrie she revealed she ditched Coronation Street’s pies and bacon butties to maintain her figure.
