KELLY Brook squirmed at the mention of her ex-boyfriend Jason Statham and even joked that he was skint when they dated.
The 39-year-old model dated the English actor, 52, from 1998 until 2004 and she got engaged to Fast & Furious star before they decided to call time on their 6 year relationship.
While talking to Ashley Roberts, 37, on Heart Radio this morning, the Pussycat Dolls star brought up her ex and described him as a “multi-millionaire action hero with a supermodel fiancée, and the star of one of the biggest franchises in the world”.
And Kelly couldn’t help but hide her emotions when she brought up her ex-fiance’s success.
She interrupted Ashley by saying: “Ugh. Can we just stop? These are all the things you do not want to hear about an ex-boyfriend.
She then repeated the description of Jason and jokingly put a gun to her head and said: “Let’s not go there Ashley. He was skint when I was there, trust me.”
Kelly and Jason started dating back in 1998, but split in 2004 after revealing to Hello! Magazine that she was a different person to the young woman who fell in love with Jason.
“I’m not the same as I was when we met,” she said.
“I’m a lot more complex now – a lot more high maintenance. And sometimes you don’t know what you want until it hits you.”
The former Strictly Come Dancing star even described her engagement to Jason as “non-memorable.”
The glamour model turned TV presenter found love with hunky Frenchman Jeremy Parisi in 2015 after several high-profile romances with stars including Billy Zane, 53, and Thom Evans, 34.
In 2018 Kelly revealed that she proposed to her boyfriend while on holiday in Antigue, but he reportedly turned her down because she asked him in public – she then stated that it wasn’t a serious proposal.
In August, Kelly once again sparked rumours that she’s engaged after she returned from a romantic holiday with Jeremy, wearing a huge diamond ring.
Kelly’s ex Jason is now married to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 32, after they met on the set of Transformers back in 2010.
The lovebirds dated for five years before they decided to tie the knot in January 2016 when Jason proposed to Rosie with a five-carat diamond ring from Neil Lane.
A year later, Rosie announced on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together.
In a 2016 interview with Harper’s Bazaar Australia Rosie said: “I have an amazing relationship with my partner. He’s by far the greatest influence in my life.”
