EU to choose between Dijsselbloem, Georgieva, for IMF; Rehn quits
By Francesco Guarascio BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European Union governments will try on Friday to choose a candidate to lead the International Monetary Fund from a field narrowed to just two, Dutchman Jeroen Dijsselbloem and Bulgaria's Kristalina Georgieva, after three candidates pulled out of the race. Finland's central bank governor, Olli Rehn, and Spanish Economy Minister Nadia Calvino withdrew on Friday after a first round of voting among representatives of the EU's 28 nations.
