This week’s question: The town of Joensuu in Finland recently hosted the first-ever Heavy Metal Knitting Championships, which saw competitors knit onstage while head-banging to ear-bleeding riffs. If a heavy metal band were to record a song about the joy of knitting, what title could it give the track?

Please include your name, address, and daytime telephone number for verification; this week, please type “Heavy knitter” in the subject line. Entries are due by noon, Eastern Time, Tuesday, Aug. 6. Winners will appear on the Puzzle Page of the Aug. 16 issue and at theweek.com/puzzles on Aug. 9. In the case of identical or similar entries, the first one received gets credit. All entries become property of The Week.
