Bride’s hen party ruined after ‘cowboy’ limo driver got group stuck on bridge – then forgot to pick them up for trip home
A BRIDE says her hen-do was wrecked by a cowboy limo driver who got them stuck on a bridge — then forgot to pick them up for the return trip.
Sammy Wilson, 29, paid £1,200 for the car to take her, 13 pals and her mum 260 miles and back last weekend.
But on the outward trip from Suffolk to Liverpool the driver got the 20ft limo trapped on a bridge after taking a short-cut.
The car company forgot to pick them up two days later, leaving them to find £1,500 to get home.
Sammy said: “Just two hours into the trip, we were travelling in countryside.
“He’d taken a short-cut and we got stuck on a tiny humpback bridge over a canal.
“A local man with a mini-digger had to help move the car as we pushed it.
“Then, when we got to Liverpool the driver ordered us all out, saying the car couldn’t get down the road to the hotel.
“My pregnant bridesmaid swore at him so he told her to ‘f*** off’.
“The driver was a cowboy and the car was still filthy from the night before.

“The company then forgot to send anyone to collect us for the trip home. I was in tears.”
NHS secretary Sammy, of Rendlesham, Suffolk, booked the trip ahead of her marriage next month to parts technician fiancé Simon Clarke, 29, through agency Regency LCC Ltd.
She has contacted the agency and car provider Topman Chauffeurs & Limo Hire but neither has responded.
