Inside the VERY glam life of Harry Maguire’s fiancee Fern Hawkins as the footballer signs record-breaking £80m deal
EARLIER today, it was announced that World Cup star Harry Maguire had been signed by Manchester United for a record-breaking £80m fee.
Unsurprisingly, the footballer’s fiancée Fern Hawkins was among the first to congratulate the talented player – and promised to “support him through every and anything”.
As she prepares for make glamorous debut as Manchester United’s newest WAG, Fabulous Digital has taken a look at her extremely stylish lifestyle – featuring exotic getaways, stunning fashion and (of course) plenty of footie.
25-year-old Fern has been dating Harry since they were teenagers living in their hometown of Sheffield.
The couple got together in 2011 – when Harry was just 18 – and the footballer popped the question last year.
Harry proposed with a stunning (and fairly sizeable) square diamond ring on an encrusted band – and considering his £80m signing, we can imagine Fern can expect a few more extravagant gifts in the not-so-distant future.
Like something straight out of a romantic movie, Fern revealed that he had asked her to marry him during a romantic getaway to Paris.
She posted on Instagram in February last year: “On Saturday night, Harry made me the happiest girl in the world & asked me to marry him in the most perfect way.”
During the World Cup, she was snapped wearing a stunning engagement ring as she travelled around Russia supporting her husband-to-be.
And although she frequently posts glamorous photos of herself dressed up for nights on the town on her Instagram feed, she’s often spotted in the stands enjoying the Three Lions’ stirring performances with a beer.
The WAG-in-the-making also shares Harry’s passion for football and has a Bachelor’s degree in science and physiotherapy, graduating with First Class Honours in 2017.
In April, Fern gave birth to the couple’s first child – naming their new daughter Lillie Saint Maguire.
Her newborn came into the world exactly nine months after England beat Colombia on penalties at the World Cup.
Although Fern and Harry share much of their lives online, they have yet to show her face.
But Harry and her daughter Lillie Saint aren’t the only loves of Fern’s life as her Instagram feed also consists of tons of adorable photos of their dog Simba.
In the past year, the couple have enjoyed a number of lavish holidays and shared photos of themselves kicking back by a private pool in Santorini, relaxing in Ibiza and selfies outside the Eiffel Tower.
Fern also appears to have excellent interior taste as glimpses inside the couple’s home reveal white wooden shutters, gorgeous oak floors and a stylish, open plan kitchen.
In other words, we can’t wait to see what their upcoming wedding will look like.
After Harry’s impressive performance at the World Cup, the England defender has signed a six-year contract with the Red Devils.
The England international, 26, has become the most expensive defender on the planet after penning a six-year contract at Old Trafford, with the option of a further 12 months.
After confirming he was leaving Leicester, Harry said: “I’m delighted to have signed for this great club.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Leicester and would like to thank everyone at the club, and the fans, for their fantastic support over the past two seasons.
“However, when Manchester United come knocking on your door, it is an incredible opportunity.
