I know he was a Benham/Smartodds man. I also know its not quite the same as the market for a player or coach where there is a lot of poaching between clubs.
But this guy has got an incredible record. Since he has been in charge of the minutiae of negotiations for our ins and outs, we have managed to turn a monumental profit whilst maintaining an above-our-weight position for 4 seasons in a row. We have got a reputation for it now, its no longer under the radar or questioned by the media.
Surely a Premier League club (perhaps Newcastle) will eventually offer him a serious role?
