South Sioux City bakery plant closing; 81 jobs to be lost

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (AP) - Officials say the closing of a South Sioux City bakery plant will cost the jobs of 81 people.

Bimbo Bakeries is planning to close in October. Production will shift to other plants.

Bimbo Bakeries is part of Mexico City-based Grupo Bimbo.
